The European logistics specialist P&O Ferrymasters and the group Transmec organize new two-way intermodal shipments between Belgium and Romania. Three wholetrains pairs per week are intended.
This service will start on 26 September 2014 from Zeebrugge in Belgium to Curtici in Romania and will provide a fast, inexpensive, environmentally friendly and flexible connection between Western Europe and the Balkans.

Many Polish and foreign media bring out today an important information that the Polish partly privatized national rail freight operator PKP CARGO SA plans to take over the Czech private rail freight company AWT (Advanced World Transport). Please see the article below.
As part of the consolidation of the Polish rail freight market PKP CARGO SA will take over also the CTL Logistics Group. However, in this case PKP CARGO is not exclusive interlocutor.

New Vice President becomes Mr. Piotr Sadza, who replaced Mr. Eugene Tudor. Mr. Piotr Sadza is working in the transport and logistics for 14 years.
New Chairman of the Supervisory Board becomes Mr. Andrzej Złoch as the successor of Mr. Andrzej Niedbała.
New Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board becomes Mr. Łukasz Hadyś as the successor of Mr. Rafał Szmytke. Mrs. Eva Tamasova is the successor of Mr. Octavian Mirica.

The Polish rail freight forwarder TRADE TRANS recently received a new order for the complete transport service of 40 PESA vehicles to Italy (PESA is the largest Polish producer of rail vehicles).
Similar orders have been realized earlier obtaining transport of 130 vehicles to different countries.
